Why do you travel to Antwerp, Belgium?
We travel to Antwerp, Belgium first and most importantly for the best cut, well-proportioned diamonds. Secondly, we are able to save money by traveling directly to the cutters and then pass the savings on to our clients. We are able to inspect each diamond and select the best to have in our store.
Why do you have an office in Antwerp, Belgium?
If we do not have what you are looking for at either of our two stores, we can contact our office in Antwerp and quickly find the exact size, shape, or quality diamond you desire.
How do you bring the diamonds back from Antwerp, Belgium?
The Diamonds are packaged at our Antwerp office. From Antwerp, they are shipped via secured courier to Howes Diamond Jewelers.
Why do some of your settings not have center diamonds?
At Howes Diamond Jewelers, we choose to leave many mountings without center diamonds, so that our clients can hand-select their very own diamond from our extensive inventory of loose diamonds. This allows our clients the opportunity to choose the size, shape, and quality of their diamond.
Why do your diamond earrings have threaded posts and screw-backs?
Threaded posts and screw backs provide security, which allows the clients to wear their diamond earrings all the time without having to worry about losing them. The threaded posts are the same size as the regular posts, so it will not irritate the ears.
Why do you carry designer mountings?
We like to carry designer mountings so our clients have a unique ring rather than a style that everyone has. Also, we do not reorder on our designer rings, so our clients can be confident they have a one of a kind ring in this area!
What does one do with a diamond or ring that may have lost its meaning?
We have many unique styles of rings, pendants and earrings that you can re-set your diamond into, to give it an entirely new look.
Do you have financing?
We offer 90 days same as cash financing and free layaway up to six months.
How often should I have my ring cleaned and inspected?
We suggest having your ring cleaned and inspected every six months to ensure the security of the diamonds and to analyze if there is any prong wear.
